New to Paddy Power?
14.05 – Benatar
This is a good competitive card and the one I like in this race is BENATAR. Although he is 3lbs out of the handicap, he was rated 149 a couple of years ago and is now down to a mark of 134.
He comes into this off the back of a much more encouraging run at Warwick last time behind a really progressive horse of Dan Skelton’s – King D’argent. I think off a light weight here, he can run a big race over a ½m further and that is sure to suit him.
15.50 – Ask Dillon
The top weight ASK DILLON is my selection in this. Liam Harrison takes off a valuable 7lbs and he ran a cracker in the Pertemps at Cheltenham Festival only a month ago. He was only beaten by 7l at the finish, so he wasn’t too far away.
This is obviously a much less competitive race than the Pertemps was and the fact that he has won on better ground in the past suggests to me that he has a very good chance in this race.
