Victorious Night’s sales price rocketed from foal to yearling and shaped very well on his recent debut over this trip at Kempton last month. He was backed at long odds on that occasion, and saw the race out really well considering he showed plenty of greenness throughout. That looked a decent race, and there could be any amount of improvement in him now, while the switch to this track which has a stiffer finish will suit him ideally. He looks a big player.

18:00 Twisted Dreams (NB)

Twisted Dreams was progressive at this venue in the autumn, winning back-to-back handicaps, including one over course and distance, and ran creditably when trying to complete a hat-trick under a penalty when last seen in November. Twisted Dreams has been freshened up since, and remains the type who can improve further this season from what still looks a workable mark, so there is plenty to like about his chances from what should be a good draw in stall 10.

Anthony Brittain has had another good season on the all-weather and he could be set for another winner here with Abnaa. He is one of the least exposed in this field, and ran an encouraging race on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time when finishing third to a couple of in-form, well-handicapped types. There should be more to come from him and he can make his presence felt from a 1 lb lower mark.
