13:36 Makalu (NAP)
Experience can count for plenty in these early-season juvenile races, so strong preference is for the only raced horse in the field Makalu. He was strong enough in the betting ahead of his debut in the Brocklesby at Doncaster last month, and he shaped with plenty of encouragement to finish third. His sire Mehmas made an excellent start with his first crop last season, and Makalu looks another promising sort for a yard that do well with their two-year-olds.
15:06 Kangaroo Point (NB)
Kangaroo Point got off the mark at the seventh attempt in good style at Kempton in February and progressed further when following up over this course and distance last month. He looked a natural on the surface, winning with plenty in hand, and confirmed he is a much improved performer when completing a hat-trick at Wolverhampton last time. He battled well on that occasion, and appears to have been placed very well here, so is strongly fancied to continue his winning streak.

15:36 Deevious Beau (E/W)
Deevious Beau remains a maiden, but bounced back to something like his best form when runner-up at Doncaster last month, having to race on the outside flank from a low draw which wasn’t ideal given how the race panned out. That was only a modest race, but this doesn’t look much better, and he will remain of interest from this basement mark.
