Thedevilscoachman is the one I’m going for here. Obviously was stuffed behind Appreciate It at Christmas but seems to have progressed since with a couple of wins and is on the up, like a few others in the race.
This is a properly good competitive contest. Echoes in Rain is always going to be popular because of Cheltenham results franking his form, but Thedevilscoachman might be a bit of a price because of that.
Henry de Bromhead seems to be the new Willie Mullins when it comes to mares, so I went for Atlantic Fairy. I think she’ll go to the front stay up there and won’t be passed. Simple.
Castlebrook is worth a speculative punt going up against Go Another One. Missed 2020 but had good form in 2019 and this is a small field so is worth a look.
Steer Clear won really well at Leopardstown before but jumped right the whole way around. Fairyhouse could bring out even more out of him. One to watch here.
I’ve gone with Conflated here. He had a bit to find on Asterion Forlonge in the November defeat at Punchestown, but I think he looks more consistent than that and Asterion falls regularly enough so I wouldn’t want to rely on that. This is also a decent chance for him to grab a Grade 1 win as some of the really top, big names haven’t turned up.
It’s still a competitive race, a lot of these have placed behind some of those and Conflated has got ahead a few times, so he’ll probably win. Cedarwood Road could be the biggest threat.

15:50 at Fairyhouse – Gentlemansgame
I’ve gone for Gentlemansgame here, he could turn out to be top class.
16:05 at Cork – Crossed My Mind
Crossed My Mind is a strong fancy for me here for Arthur Moore. Has improved this season and won this race in 2019.
