13:25 Raffaello
A very open handicap and a chance is taken on RAFFAELLO to get back to winning ways from a career low mark. The booking of Colin Keane for Mienvee Flyer catches the eye and she will appreciate the easy ground. Musalsal is fit from the AW and should go well, while Sideshow Bob looks solid. Roxette is interesting, especially if she is strong in the market.

14:00 Eleuthera
Is That Love is going for a quick three-timer but faces very different conditions today off a 9lb higher mark. A chance is taken on ELEUTHERA, who is fit from an AW outing and is better on turf. Youceeyouceecee is a consistent sort and should go well, as should Drombeg Duke and Patchouli. Fortmill Lily needs a market check with the champion jockey aboard.
14:35 Lustown Baba
A very competitive Listed sprint. The Willie McCreery yard has started the season in flying form and LUSTOWN BABA looks the pick of his trio here. She goes well in this ground and could still be improving, so is selected. Make A Challenge won’t go down easily, though, and there won’t be a lot between them. Back To Brussels goes well here and should do so again, while Real Force can get involved also.
15:10 Cadamosto
Ballydoyle have already introduced a smart-looking juvenile and it seems reasonable to assume that CADAMOSTO will be forward enough to make his presence felt here. It’ll Do My Day has the benefit of a run, a decent one too, while the most appealing of the other newcomers look to be Shinkansen, whose sire Caravaggio is already off the mark, Dream Oasis and Cool And Clever, whose trainer has already had a juvenile debut winner by this one’s sire Vocalised.
15:45 Logo Hunter
A very open handicap in which few can be safely ruled out. Forest Of Dreams will have plenty of supporters given the way Ballydoyle have started the season, while the likes of Rosie Bassett and Claonadh are unexposed fillies proven on soft ground and could well have a say. However, preference is for LOGO HUNTER, who looks the type to make his mark in handicaps this year, although he has yet to encounter this sort of ground.
16:20 Princess Zoe (NAP)
Even with a Group 1 penalty to shoulder, PRINCESS ZOE (nap) can still take care of these on the first step towards a possible tilt at the Arc’ this year. Mighty Blue is fit from hurdling and can give her most to do, while Yaxeni can get a piece of the action too.

16:55 Starting Monday
Despite being unruly beforehand STARTING MONDAY ran out an impressive winner at the Curragh recently and the manner in which he finished over that mile trip suggests he could well stay this longer distance. His 8lb rise is partly offset by Nathan Crosse’s claim and he could take some stopping here off a light weight on ground he relishes. Of those that ran in the Lincoln, Mirann appeals most now upped to a more suitable trip, while both Aiseirigh and Persian Queen are relatively unexposed and could have more to offer.
17:30 Modus Operandi
Colour Sergeant sets a decent standard and acts on the ground but it would be no surprise if MODUS OPERANDI improved past him on his seasonal return. The Frankel colt caught the eye in a back-end maiden when getting no luck in running and he should relish this sort of trip. The Dermot Weld pair Hamidabad and Mitigated Risk, along with Noel Meade’s Comedy La Vega look the most interesting of the debutants.
