Born To Rule wasn’t a bad horse on the level and ran a very encouraging race on his hurdles debut at Navan at the beginning of the month. He was only a couple of lengths behind a subsequent winner and this doesn’t look the strongest of maiden hurdles. If he can improve from that which you would expect he will, he won’t be far away.

There’s plenty of old timers in this so I’m siding with the younger horse in Marshalled. He looked all over the winner over C&D last time before being caught late by West Is Best. He seems to be getting his act together over fences and even though the handicapper has put him up 3lbs for that second last time, he still should have a few pounds in hand off a mark of 105.
