Everything For You is coming into this off an easy win a week ago at Plumpton but GOLD CLERMONT may be able to stop him from following up. He was quietly fancied last time at Ayr, travelling strongly before being out-battled late on by an in-form horse. He’s gone up 7lbs for that but is still very unexposed and he’s the one I like in this.

15.45: Newcastle – Kitty Hall

A small field in this and top weight Laskadine has to give 17lbs and more to her four rivals. For that reason, KITTY HALL may well be able to score her first victory over hurdles. She’s been consistent of late and the handicapper seems to have given her every chance by giving her an opening mark of 102. Brian Hughes needs all the winners he can get for the Jockeys’ Championship and I’m hoping this will be another for him.
