Horse Racing tips: Paddy trader's Newbury and Dundalk picks on Friday

MASTERS LEGACY has had four runs, all of which have come at Taunton, and his latest run there over a month ago was after over a year off the track. He finished 4th on that occasion and was beaten 18l but there was plenty to like about the way he travelled into the race before getting tired.

The handicapper has dropped him 2lbs for that which I think is very fair, so I’d expect him to take a bit of beating here.

19.00 Dundalk – Darkest Hour

Sarah Lynam has had a great winter in Dundalk and I think she continue it here with DARKEST HOUR. He was just touched off in a course and distance handicap last month and given this is an apprentice jockeys handicap she’s booked a very good rider in Dylan Browne McMonagle so off a 1lb-higher mark I think he’ll go very close.
