I’ve picked out Downforce in this one – the Paddy Power “From The Horse’s Mouth” Podcast Handicap! He has a bit of soft ground form so might be okay on the slightly heavier ground. It might be the fastest sprint run at Curragh.
I think Layfayette for Noel Meade has a really good chance here. He’s in good form and the stable are doing well at the moment. I think it has a good chance to take advantage of the low weight in the Lincoln.
The Lincoln is a very trappy race as it is every year. I think Lobo Rojo is worth a punt as it’s pretty well priced. To find a winner here, you’re looking for runners who have good soft ground form and might pop up early on in the season. Lobo Rojo won his maiden at Leopardstown and he likes soft ground. Disappointing since but has had a break since. Considering we know he handles the ground and how lightly raced he is, he’s worth a go.
