13:45 – Smurphy Enki
SMURPHY ENKI found the Tolworth a bridge too far at this stage of his career but he’d looked impressive when scoring at this track previously and this longer trip should suit, so he’s preferred to Astigar, who is expected to put a tame showing at Hereford behind him. Whydah Gally also has some potential.

14:17 – Fleck Ivy
FLECK IVY made a solid start to his chasing career behind a thriving one at Catterick last month and looks the type to progress, so he makes quite a bit of appeal. Invincible Cave has been let down by his attitude in the past, but is doing little wrong at present.
14:47 – Deebaj
A few with chances but Gary Moore’s DEEBAJ should be seen to much better effect now he steps back up to a staying trip and he can take advantage of a good mark. Blame The Game arrives at the top of his game so is feared most despite a hike in the weights for his Fontwell romp, although Republican can also have a say too racing off the same mark as when a good fifth at Ascot recently.

15:17 – Fizzlestix
FIZZLESTIX has been below par in 3 starts since justifying support in this race 12 months ago but it would be no surprise to see him bounce back with a bang. Calin du Brizais and Soarlikeaneagle are becoming well handicapped so they head the dangers.
15:47 – Midnight Callisto
It’s fair to say that MIDNIGHT CALLISTO has failed to measure up to expectations in maiden hurdles this season, but she has been handed what looks a potentially handy mark for this handicap debut. She gets the nod ahead of the admirably consistent Sexy Lot, who produced her best effort yet when scoring at Sandown on Friday. Sixties Secret and Runasimi River are others to consider.
16:25 – Powerstown Park
A race which to a large extent revolves around POWERSTOWN PARK who will take a bit of stopping if reproducing the form he showed when winning comfortably at Exeter last week. Gary Moore’s Ballydoyle has an unexposed profile and reached the frame in novices on both previous visits here so he may provide the main threat. Handicap newcomers Wise Garden and No Worries need monitoring in the betting.
