Fly Smart is a horse there’s been a bit of hype about but we haven’t seen him since he switched to Willie Mullins’ stable. He hasn’t run in over two years but I think I’m buying the hype a little and I’m interested to see how he goes here.
I like Smiths Girl here. Shane Crawley is an impressive trainer and one I have huge admiration for. I think he’s shrewd and very underrated. It’s Smiths Girl’s third handicap and she impressed against Klassy Kay two runs ago, finishing one place behind Willie Mullins’ runner. Smiths Girl didn’t get three miles last time but did look good before giving way, she walked home the last couple of furlongs. Being back to 2 1/2 miles will suit here and she should have an each way chance.

I’m going with Mitchouka. I thought he really caught the eye twice this year. He was fifth at the Dublin Festival, where he found the trip too short. Previous to that he’d been sixth in the Paddy Power Chase and he found the trip too long. This 2m5f distance should suit him perfectly, it’s ideal for him. Also worth noting that the last time he ran on good ground, he won. He’ll be a fair price and he’s worth a go.
