I’ll admit this is a tricky race to pluck a winner in, but I’m going to have a go and I will start by picking the filly who looks to have the best form on offer. My Sister Jo ran a cracker back in a 10-runner field when 2nd on the all-weather at Wolverhampton back in early January.
The horse outran it’s odds of 33/1 that day and it appeared she would relish an extra furlong. Another reason to row in with her is the fact that Trainer Richard Fahey in good form having saddled four winners in the past fortnight.
He also had a couple of horses who finished 2nd on the AW tracks at Kempton and Wolverhampton in midweek. My first leg of the double is My Sister Jo.

The Richard Fahey Saturday double moves on now to the second leg now and one that catches the eye on handicap debut for the shrewd Fahey stable is Out of the East. This horse has lots of promise and was 4th of 6 runners over track and trip about a month ago.
Improvement is expected and this horse is bred to be a lot better than a mark of 65. Awtaad, who won the 2000 Guineas at the Curragh in 2016 for Kevin Prendergast sires this 3 year-old grey filly and she is one for me that leaps off of the page on her handicap bow.
Out of the East is my selection to complete the Richard Fahey Saturday PP News double, folks!
