18:00 Engrave

I like a horse called Engrave in this one. This is over a 1m4f and Bay of Naples will be towards the top of the market. That horse was a winner over course and distance two starts ago but was the beaten favourite at Wolverhampton since, when not beaten all-that far. But I’m siding with the horse I mentioned earlier, Engrave.

This horse was the winner over a 1m2f at Chelmsford, running on strong there. I expect the extra two furlongs to help this horse. He was third the last day while not disgraced and hopefully, at a price, Engrave can kick us off with a winning selection.

18:30 Susie Javea (NAP)

This is my NAP, Susie Javea. This contest is a tricky race over a mile with three previous course and distance winners and two last time out winners as well. You have to put all those in with big chances.

It was only a neck between Crazy Spin and Van Dyck the last day whereas False Id only won on Sunday. But I’m siding with Susie Javea.

This horse has been the bridesmaid on three of its last six starts when second on his comeback run after 68 day absence from the track, beaten by half length by Van Dyck on that occasion. I think Susie Javea could reverse the form and get back to winning ways.

19:00 Poppy Jag (E/W)

Amazing Amaya is the only course and distance winner in the line up. I fancy it to go well and it placed last time out. However, I’m siding with a lively outsider in Poppy Jag.

This horse has been going off some outrageous prices. She was 100/1 at Chelmsford last time out when went totally outrunning those odds when third, only beaten a length and staying on very strong.

This time it’s dropping back in distance and with the assistance of Rossa Ryan, who’s riding well with a 29% strike rate in the last two weeks. I think this horse is definitely underrated and hopefully, at a big price, can run an each-way shout.

19:30 Momentum Swing

I’m going for a horse called Momentum Swing over this 5f handicap. Arcavallo will be towards the top of the betting with this horse being beaten either favourite or joint favourite in the last five starts and I’m sure it will be fancied again today.

But Momentum Swing could certainly play a part. This horse has only had three career starts and his last effort was his best effort when third. He did weaken that day in the closing stages, but should come on for that run.

It’s having a second start following a wind operation and has the assistance here of Cieren Fallon on board. I think Momentum Swing could win the finale.
