It looks worth forgiving RIVERS LAD a couple of below-par runs and taking a chance on him bouncing back to his Salisbury form. He would be hard to beat if he could repeat that effort. Several runners are closely matched on form shown in recent handicaps won by Nortonthorpe Boy and Iesha. Those two winners are worthy of respect but DUBAI TIGRESS may be the answer granted better fortune this time. The other horses from those contests are also difficult to dismiss in this open-looking affair.

True Destiny and Lucky Deal are also in the mix.

The vote goes to ABERAMA GOLD who is in top form, remains unexposed on Polytrack and beat some of these rivals in his recent starts. Gulliver is a major player on ratings and Above is threatening to win a good race, while Streamline was progressive when last seen.

It’s hard to get away from GLOBAL WARNING, who bolted up on stable debut at Newcastle last week and looks well treated under a penalty. Equitation has dropped to an attractive mark and looks the best alternative ahead of Wiley Post. It’s also hard to discount the in-form A Sure Welcome, who could run into a place again.
