Horse Racing Tips: Your best bets under lights at Kempton tonight

16:00: TOUCHWOOD

The most solid contender on form is TOUCHWOOD, who appears to be improving steadily and failed only narrowly on his most recent start. He’ll be suited by this step back up in distance. Mutahamisa is a likely danger provided she belatedly confirms the promise of her debut, while Invincible Gift and Elvic look best of the newcomers.

16:30: BILL PEYTO

Some interesting newcomers on show, notably Western Symphony, Qurtajana, King Of Clubs and Wake Up Harry, but they have a fair standard to aim at. Expect To Succeed and Pride Of England are both considered but BILL PEYTO shaped well on debut and should be even more effective over this trip.

17:05: FOXES TALES

Those with previous experience don’t set a daunting standard, with Tribuna Uffizi perhaps the pick, and this looks ripe for a newcomer to score. Beating All, A Legacy and Kinderfrau are all considered but FOXES TALES looks the part on paper and could be the answer.

17:35: SHADY MCGEE

Marsabit landed a gamble over C&D three weeks ago and could still have further progress in him at this trip but SHADY MCGEE went through that race like the best horse and he may be able to reverse the placings, especially if he can be held on to for a fraction longer. With Saratoga Gold not sure to appreciate the drop back in trip, the biggest threats may be posed by Autumn Twilight and handicap debutant King Of Tsavo.

18:05: UZINCSO

A small field but an interesting race nonetheless. Espresso Freddo won smoothly here a fortnight ago and will be a big threat if in the same form, while Fantasy Believer and Delicate Kiss have conditions to suit and are also considered. The uncomplicated UZINCSO (nap) made it 4-4 in C&D handicaps when pulling clear with one other on Monday night and he should be up to defying his penalty.

18:35: SOAR ABOVE

A few of these like to get on with it and a good pace looks on the cards. Maysong would benefit from an end-to-end gallop and is respected but the pair to focus on could be Tipperary Jack and SOAR ABOVE. The former has his ideal conditions and has been hinting his turn is near but John Butler has his team in good form and the selection shouldn’t be judged too harshly on a couple of lesser efforts on slow turf.

19:05: BERNARD SPIERPOINT

Most of the key players have a quirk or two and BERNARD SPIERPOINT hasn’t always looked straightforward. That said, it wasn’t all his fault he ended up in the middle of the track on the home turn at Chelmsford last time and he did well to get as close as he did given his route. He can gain a breakthrough success at the main expense of Leo Davinci and Revolutionary Man. Market confidence behind Herons Nest and Elusif would look significant.

19:35: SECRET TREATIES

Havana Sunset ran well on his stable debut last week and can go well, while Soyounique lurks on a dangerous mark and is still low mileage. SECRET TREATIES comes here on the up though and may be able to gain a second C&D success.

20:05: CASA LOUPI

A tight race which could go to CASA LOUPI. He races off the same mark as when beaten just a nose at Yarmouth in October and proved he is equally effective on the AW when second at Chelmsford last time. Licit was a good second at this course two starts ago and would be a player if back to that form, while in-form Combine is the other big danger.
