Paddy Power has cast his eye over a packed Sunday of racing to pick out his two best bets.
Speaking on the latest episode of our twice-weekly From The Horse’s Mouth podcast, the main man has named his best selections ahead of action at Cork and Punchestown.
1.25pm, Cork – Chacun Pour Soi
I agree with Frank Hickey in backing CHACUN POUR SOI. Before I saw the final declarations I was going to tip up Castlegrace Paddy but Chacun Pour Soi is the obvious one.
1.40pm, Punchestown – Battleoverdoyen
I know that it’s the John Durkan Chase but something with a bit of fitness under its belt could be good. So BATTLEOVERDOYEN is the one for me.
Cheltenham doesn’t suit him, so maybe this horse’s targets will be earlier in the season. He was impressive the last day at Down Royal, and I know it looks like he’s Gordon Elliott’s second string from the jockey bookings, but Rachael Blackmore has the mount. She’s not bad at all!
Battleoverdoyen might be a bit of value.
