The stronger of the two divisions. Several in-form contenders, notably Chagall, EMPHATIC and St George’s Head. Emphatic is looking to add to belated first victory at Dundalk 17 days ago and is fancied to repeat the trick it took him 25 attempts to first do here. Cappella Liath is a possible improver.

Excellent each-way potential here, three or four places, with so much dead wood. John McConnell and son Cillian can strike here with BLACKSTONE CLIFF, something of a revelation on latest. Bare With Me is respected and each-way bets are strongly advised.

MAGIC CHARM needs to get his breaking act together, but he should be more than capable of winning a race as modest as this one. Ms Thompson could go two better after a fine run here on latest. Two of the reserves come into it if they run.
