Horse Racing tips: Frank Hickey’s 4 to score in a Wednesday wager

Frank's back in the ring for another swing across three UK tracks.

Frank Hickey Tips

Ffos Las 12.30 – Nada To Prada

This looks an excellent opportunity for Nada To Prada to get off the mark over hurdles, after showing plenty on her hurdles debut at Hexham last month. She bumped into On The Wilde Side there, who has won easily again since and has been given an opening mark of 129, so there was no disgrace in finishing second to her.

The ground that day may have been lively enough for Nada To Prada, as she is a point and bumper winner on testing ground. She gets her favoured conditions now and has a wind operation since that Hexham second and she could take plenty of beating

Warwick 13.30 – The Glancing Queen

The Glancing Queen was a top performer in bumpers, winning at Listed level at Cheltenham, before being beaten seven lengths in the Champion Bumper by Envoi Allen. She finished that season with a Grade 2 win in the Mares Bumper at Aintree before meeting with a little setback that kept her off the track for the guts of a year. She reappeared in the Champion Bumper, where again she wasn’t disgraced when eighth. That was a fair effort after a year off and if her jumping is up to scratch on her hurdles debut, she should prove difficult to beat.

Ffos Las 16.00 – Swincombe Fleat

Anthony Honeyball is having a great time of things and Swincombe Fleat might be able to improve his strike rate even further. Honeyball has won with two of his six runners in bumpers so far this season and Swincombe Fleat is most certainly bred to be useful in this sphere. She is a full sister to Master Debonair, who was listed bumper winner who also won on his bumper debut and if Swincombe Fleat has anywhere near the ability of her brother, she should go very well here.

Kempton 16.55 – Mused

Mused was fourth on debut at Newmarket when sent off 11/4 favourite, but her sire doesn’t have a great record on testing turf, so there is plenty of reasons for believing she could improve hugely for the switch to the all-weather. The danger looks to be Napper Tandy but he has a wide draw to navigate and with Hugo Palmer’s horses continuing to run really well, Mused can get off the mark at the second attempt.
