Shelbourne Park stages the most prestigious event on the greyhound racing calendar this weekend.
The last six dogs left standing in the 2022 Irish Greyhound Derby are set to slug it out for a slice of the €125,000 prize pot. All that stands in their way is 30 seconds of rip-roaring racing.

Callaway Pro Am is the only runner with an unbeaten record in this year’s classic
Ballymac Finn clocked the quickest time of the semi-finals thanks to a front-running display.
Born Warrior is the only runner to have led at the third turn in every round.

2022 Irish Greyhound Derby final tips
DARRELL WILLIAMS: I favour Callaway Pro Am from trap one, who is unbeaten in the heats from that draw. Ballymac Finn will try to move in from trap four while Maries Wedding is improving with each run and should hold her line from trap three, so it’s all to play for.
Crafty Kokora put in a magical run last weekend when getting into trouble early, but still came home really well. That second semi-final form looks the stronger to me and I’m hoping it’s a 1-2-3.
Selection: 1. Callaway Pro Am 2. Crafty Kokora 3. Maries Wedding
