The fourth race on the card is the first of many grade B races. There is one last time out winner in trap 1 but I’m going for the downgrader in Trap 7 Tnt ShotGunRaider. This experienced dog had been running in better graded races and had been finding trouble his last couple of starts but if the selection can avoid trouble early on should run a big race.
19:25 Trap 5 Blue Devil
Race 6, another of the Grade B races, is a wide-open race with none of the runners in good form. Trap 5 Blue Devil is a useful sort with 21 races on his card with six wins and placed on a further seven occasions. Won four starts ago and placed on two of his three runs since. Devoid of early pace but stays strong from the last two bends.
20:33 Trap 2 Magnus Marvel
The 10th race is another Grade B. The inexperienced runner in Trap 2 Magnus Marvel could be the way to play, and the selection romped up in a grade C race last time out by eight lengths when drawn towards the inside. Well drawn again today in the blue jacket and could make it back-to-back wins on the fence – gets the Nap vote to go in again.
21:07 Trap 3 KBs BobberCycle
Another of the Grade B races, with a couple of debutants in the race who have a say if taking to the track – but I’m siding with the experience in Trap 3 KBs BobberCycle, who has 38 starts, winning seven and placed 16 other times. Was only beaten a nose last time out when making a drive for home and doing something similar could get up on this start.
21:58 Trap 4 Palm City Tasha
The finale on the card is the best race as well, being the only Grade A race. There is only one last time out winner and I am siding with her. Trap 4 Palm City Tasha, who won in this grade last time out beaten trap 6 on that start, did manage to only win by a head but was still a good effort. Rarely runs a bad race and should put in another solid performance here.
