Greyhound Racing Tips: 5 to follow at Palm Beach on Wednesday

The NAP is a bit of a mouthful

6.51pm – Be Par Salem (Trap 7)

Race 4 is the first of the Grade A action. Trap 7 Be Par Salem is an Oct 16 dog who is very experienced with over 90 starts on his card. Hasn’t had a race in two months but when last seen was placed on a couple of occasions.

No early at all but is a stout stayer so even though he might be the old man of the party, should be able to run a solid race.

7.25pm – Buzz Light Year (Trap 4)

The sixth race is a Grade B race. Trap 4 Buzz Light Year has been running consistently of late, winning two of his last four starts and placing third on the other two occasions.

Can trap well on occasions but his strongest asset is his staying ability so if this lad turns close, watch him come home flying. Capable of landing the spoils.

8.33pm – Barts Sizzler (Trap 6)

The 10th race is another of the Grade B races, with half the field having their first starts here at Palm Beach.

That makes this race quite interesting and there could be a few to take away from the race if they run well on debut. But I’m siding with Trap 6 Barts Sizzler who is a useful sort but unfortunately doesn’t win all that often, with 31 runs and only three wins.

Has been the bridesmaid on 13 occasions and three of those in his last three starts so maybe today could be the day this dog gets back to winning ways.

9.41pm – Arkansbdchikhiks (Trap 3) (NAP)

The 14th race on the card is another of the Grade A races with plenty of winning form in the line up. Trap 3 Arkansbdchikhiks is in absolutely scintillating form, banging in four wins on the trot – and all in this top grade.

Won by a staggering eight and a half lengths last time out. Can’t fault this dog at present and if that good run is kept going it should gets its 5th victory in a row. The NAP vote to win again.

9.58pm – Open Throttle (Trap 1)

The final race of the 15th race programme is another Grade A event and I think it could be all about the inside runners. Trap 1 and 2 were both winners last time out but I think Trap 1 Open Throttle could just have enough to win again.

Held on gamely last time out to land the spoils, well drawn on the rails and a personal best of 29.81 last time out should see it bang there to run another big race.
