Nothing really to get excited about with this race as it’s very poor but the selection caught the eye last time out. Youngster of the line up with just two races finished second latest and showed enough to suggest she can win a race of this standard. Another positive is that she came in for bit of support so maybe connections think a bit of her and also well drawn on the fence to attempt a maiden victory.

19:36 – Trap 2 – Rf Jasper @ 2/1

Gets a class drop for this race and when running latest he was running in two grades higher than most of his rivals in this race so really significant. The fact that he ran so well in recent Grade Bs and was supported also makes me think that he will be very hard to beat in this race. A nice draw for this early pacer is perfect and though a lack of stamina a slight concern he could be too far in front to catch.

20:08 – Trap 4 – Windy Cheyenne @ 4/1

Grader left with egg on his face when he dropped Trap 4 Windy Cheyenne in grade last time out winning by nine lengths in the process.Pushed back up to Grade C here but is it enough .The penny may have dropped with this lady. She has mixed really well in this grade previously with several places and a couple of close calls.Confidence could not be higher and who knows grader may get his pants pulled down again.

20:24 – Trap 2 – Raider Shiver @ 6/4

The feature race on the card and NAP selection. Excellent in winning latest, it’s real heart in the mouth stuff with this dog as he comes home with a wet sail in his races and would if anything appreciate a step up in trip. Drawn in the same box as last time the make up of the race is perfect with a couple of wide runners and a lack of stamina also. I can see him get a clear run around the opening bend and show his class from that point on. Hold onto your seats.

20:40 – Trap 4 – Ats Honey @ 6/1

Maybe connections had a word with the grader because no more can be done for the selection in this contest. Running in Grade A recently and has won in Grade B she now finds herself mixing in Grade C. Are you confused? I certainly am. The only concern is that there is a lot of early pace in the race but barring a mishap will take some stopping here. Went close to NAP selection.
