The opening action is a Grade B where Trap 6 Raider Sweep, who had been running in better races, should have a chance. Won a Grade A race a couple of starts ago and not beaten all that far last time out. With the drop-in grade, could certainly get back to winning ways.
Race four is a Grade A race and could be all about one runner Trap 5 JD Spellbound. This dog that turned two years of age earlier in the week is a dog going places at the moment. He won his last two races by two lengths and an impressive six last time out. He starts and stays well drawn again and I think it could be all over by the first bend. If he leads he wins and gets the Nap vote to go in again.
Race 5 is another Grade B race and it’s pretty wide open, the marginal vote going to Trap 5 R U Into Me, who is one of the youngest in the races with nine races so far, winning three times and placed on another three occasions. Was second last time out after a driving finish saw him placed so another solid run from behind will see him run into a place for a value price.
Race 7 is a solid race and I feel experience is going to prevail in this one. Trap 2 Squeallike Thiel is the experienced dog in the race with 77 career starts and has ran 35 of them here, winning on 10 occasions including last time out over C&D. Led from start to finish on that occasion so wearing its trapping boots today could certainly win again.
The 10th race of the night is the final Grade A contest, and Trap 2 JD Sophisticate is a litter side to the dog I tipped in race four, so I’m hoping for a litter double. This lady should be given plenty of respect in this race – she has been second in her last four races not beaten far in any of them. I think this lady could go in, she gets my NB tag so hope the comrades can do the business.
