Greyhound racing tips: 5 flyers to make the rest criers at Naples Fort Myers

Things look great down in the Sunshine State.

18:16 Trap 5 BGR Goodbadugly

The second race is a maiden contest, which is always tricky as some of the line up are on debut. So, there could be a couple in the race that are ones to keep a eye on for future races, but I’m liking Trap 5 BGR Goodbadugly as this dog is quite experienced with nine races so far – he is yet to win but has been placed on eight of his starts. Going off previous comments this dog has been leaving himself to much to do but will be flying at the end and could final break the maiden tag.

18:48 Trap 3 Youdontknowme

Race 4 on the card is the first of the Grade B races. It’s a wide open race but I am marginally siding with Trap 3 Youdontknowme, who is the experienced racer over 70 lifetime starts. Has had 37 here and managed to win eight of those, and has also been running in better graded action so the drop back in class could be enough to see him prevail.

19:36 Trap 8 Killer Tolstoy

Race 7 the first of the Grade A races and even though it’s a good race it also could be a one dog race with Trap 8 Killer Tolstoy who is absolutely flying at the moment. He has managed to win four of his last six starts and was second on the other two occasions. He would possibly prefer an inside draw but going off recent form he is the one they all need to beat.

20:08 Trap 3 Logan’s Run

The second of our Grade B races sees Trap 3 Logan’s Run, who has been mixing in better action and could dominate this race. He won a grade a couple of starts ago and was only narrowly denied last time out by a neck. He has been placed 20 times out of a possible 25 starts, has moderate pace throughout but stalks the early pacers close home and will hope to get up in the shadow of the post. He also gets the Nap vote to go in.

20:24 Trap 5 Dead to Me

Race 10 on the card is a our final Grade A race and it’s a really competitive race. Trap 5 Dead to me has managed to win its last two starts. The dog starts and stays well and the clocks have been very impressive, but it’s also worth keeping a eye on the green and white in trap 7 Super C Jazzy. This dog has been placed second on his last two starts narrowly denied. The vote goes to trap 5 but 7 could certainly be a danger.
