18:00 – Trap 3 – JD Tonic @ 1/1
Race 1 is a Class B race and isn’t the strongest of races. Trap 3 JD Tonic is a dog coming back in grade after mixing in Class A races previously and managing to win in that grade. Should find this task a good bit easier and could prevail in this poor race.
18:48 – Trap 5 JD Sophisticate @ 6/5
The first race of Grade A action on the card and trap 4 is certainly on a upward curve, winning its last two starts but I’m siding with TRAP 5 JD SOPHISTICATE. This lady, who turned two on Tuesday, has been running really well her last couple of starts, second on her last three runs and only denied a nose last time out. She has blistering early speed and issues with her staying ability but I think has enough to win this race and gets the NAP vote to go in.
19:20 TRAP 4 MV Shop Vac @ 3/1
Another class B race, with all eight runners not in the best of form. TRAP 4 MV SHOP VAC is the most in-form dog, winning a class C quite well two starts ago by an impressive eight lengths and was second last time out not beaten all that far. Not blessed with early toe but flies from half way and will try to nab them all close home.
19:36 TRAP 3 JD Spellbound @ 17/10
Race 7 is a good race with three last time out winners in the line up and all three jumping up a grade for those wins. TRAP 3 JD SPELLBOUND is one of those dogs and won quite well last time out. He is a dog with 30 career starts and managing to win eight of those and placed another 10 occasions. He starts and stays and has a major chance to notch up another victory.
20:24 TRAP 4 Rockdown Hondo @ 4/1
Race 10 is the toughest race to call a winner, as there is plenty of winning experience in the race but TRAP 4 ROCKDOWN HONDO really caught my eye here. This puppy was previously running at Daytona Beach but switched to here four races back and has really managed to flourish, winning twice already and dominating the field last time out by seven and a half lengths. Can only improve further and a force to reckon with in the future.
There is a special Money Back 2nd and 3rd to a SP Fav on all races today. Max stake 10 quid.
