Greyhound tips: These 5 to note get our vote at Naples Fort Myers today

We're trying to get just five winners from 24 races. How hard can it be?

18:16 Trap 1 – After The Storm

‘Well. it’s about time,’ was connections reaction when After the Storm was dropped in class to Grade B after seven starts in Grade A. To his credit, he’s mixed it reasonably well and I can see where the grader was coming. Three races in this Grade have yielded one impressive win and two seconds.

A plum draw on the fence today sets After the Storm up nicely for a big run.

18:32 Trap 8 – Keeper Tai

He got no run latest when crowded on the run up to the bend and was forced to check again at the third bend. He’s very inexperienced in terms of races run and his win in this Grade earlier this month is still fresh in my mind.

This wide trap draw is a blessing in disguise to see Keeper Tai at his best.

18:48 Trap 1 – JS Poetrynmotion

Lived up to his name early this month when winning by six lengths in Grade C company. Connections tried him over marathon trip in his last three starts, so he will certainly strip fit returning to four bends in this Grade B contest.

He would not be out of place in Grade A company to be honest.

JS Poetrynmotion will be very hard to keep out of the frame today and with a bit of luck – may even take the gold medal.

19:36 Trap 1 – Send Condolence

The feature race on the card and all runners come into this Grade A heat in good form, so the trap draw is crucial. Condolences might be required for his rivals if the selection can get his timing right from the traps.

A winner of two of his last four races in this Grade, this is his favourite box and he has the figures on the clock to prove it. With a fast start let’s hope Send Condolence can steal a march around the opening corner.

20:08 Trap 2 – Logans Run (Nap)

Maybe the grader has a share in this dog as he can count himself very lucky to get the drop in class. A recent winner in Grade A company four starts ago, when last seen in a Grade B heat he destroyed the field winning by four lengths.

The make-up of the race looks perfect and I’ve certainly convinced myself that Logans Run will take some stopping as he’s the Nap selection.
