Greyhound Racing tips: The five best bets at Naples Fort Myers on Friday

Chickenfried? Get on board, folks

6pm – Pivot Left (Trap 3)

Pivot Left is a very consistent performer who has caught the eye in a couple of races recently. He has mixed in better Grade Cs than this and although lacks early pace, can certainly keep in touch with tonight’s competition. Should get plenty of room to race freely so expect a power finish.

6.32pm – Hashtag Restrain (Trap 5)

This is a tightly-graded race so the grader may have a spanner in the works.

But Hashtag Restrain, a strong-running performer who has got it on the clock to win here, has been drawn in Trap 5 and was very unlucky on his last couple of starts when battling for position.

With a clear run here he can handle this company. The grader will hope so.

6.48pm – RF Shiloh (Trap 6)

This race looks a straight match between Vibranium in Trap 5 and RF Shiloh in Trap 6.

The latter, trained by Jerry Cole, is overdue a win and you get the feeling that he has been given a slight break in this contest.

RF Shiloh ran a cracking race in defeat last time out and from this perfect draw can show his all-round pace, although he might not need it in this contest.

7.20pm – BGR Chickenfried (Trap 5) (NAP)

BGR Chickenfried has been running much better than the form suggests.

This is a race with little to no early pace and the selection lacks in that department, but he is a son of the great College Causeway and will be much closer down the back straight than in recent races.

Tonight looks tailor-made for his style of running and Chickenfried has posted decent clocks in this type of grade.

It will be heart-in-mouth stuff but expect a swashbuckling finish – just like his Dad. Nap on the card. Get on folks.

8.24pm – Superior Rio (Trap 1)

This will be a really classy race and will take some winning. Superior Rio is a tempting selection on the basis of the trap draw. Will take the paint off the rails and has a fantastic early foot. His main rivals are in middle to wide traps so any trouble at the first bend will allow Superior Rio to cut loose on the field. It’s then a case of ‘catch me if you can’. Very close to nap selection.

If it’s still going, there are probably odds on it at PaddyPower.com
