Greyhound racing tips: 5 flyers to beat all triers at Naples Fort Myers

Wednesday evening brings another full card at the Florida track.

18:00 – Trap 1 Superior Tina

Race 1 is a Grade B race with the red jacket of Trap 1 Superior Tina having been given a downgrade. She has posted a massive run under the 30 second barrier and is well drawn on the fence, and could dominate from the inside and make all on the fence.

18:48 Trap 1 Raider Shiver

Race 4 is Grade A action and Trap 1 Raider Shiver is a useful sort with 23 races on his card so far and has been a winner of six races so far. Won two starts ago and was placed last time out when third. This dog is very reversative as he starts and stays so if the running is close he will be closing fast from half way and could nab these all close home.

19:36 Trap 2 Hashtag Equus

Race 7 is the best race on the card. Another of our Grade A races, with all eight runners with one or more victories in their last five starts. Trap 2 Hashtag Equus is bang in form, with two wins back to back, winning by six lengths in both starts. Not blessed with early pace but is a flyer from half way so will be closing fast.

20:08 Trap 4 Special Counsel

Race 9 is a wide-open race. Trap 4 Special Counsel unfortunately collided and fell over last time out in Grade A action. With the grade taken into account, the recent fall has given this one an easier task this time: the last run in this grade was a winner meaning that so long as the fall hasn’t affected this dog’s confidence, it certainly could run a big race.

20:24 Trap 7 FF Lurch

Race 10 is a tough race to call but it’s very hard to look past Trap 7 FF Lurch. This dog has managed three wins on the trot and all in this grade. This June 18 dog has been winning with relative ease in those starts: he has eight races and six victories so far in his career. I’ve sided with him on his last two starts and will be siding with him again to land the four-timer and to land my Nap selection also.
