Greyhound Racing Tips: Our traders have a 22/1 delicious double for Darwin this morning

Early morning action down under. Can't beat it. Well...

A 12-race programme from Darwin kicks off early morning action starting at 9:41 am. Let’s get stuck in. I’ve a double that I’m keen on.

12:04pm – He’s All Grunt (NAP) @ 13/5

Race 8 on the card is worth a whopping $7,000 to the winner so all eight runners will hope to be on the top of their game. Trap 6 Mepunga Zeus is the obvious selection following his last couple of successes, but he is 0-8 in trap 6 so I certainly think he could be worth taking on. Trap 4 He’s All Grunt could hold a stronger hand, he is a last time out winner in this grade and has a super nine wins from 17 over course and distance. He’s had six starts from the trap and has managed to win on two occasions so for me on stats alone I think he could go in again and gets the Nap card as well.

12:22pm – Rittos Hanger @ 11/2

Race 9 is a tightly graded race. Some of the field are tackling today’s distance of 383m for the first time. Both trap 6 & 7 are the best-rated dogs in the contest but I’m going to side with experience in Trap 1 Rittos Hanger. This lady who turns 4 next month has a whopping 112 races so far on her card and still running really well. She won last month and was placed two starts ago, but has 44 races over today’s distance and in that time has managed to pull out seven victories and a further 15 placings. She gets my vote.

The Double pays 22/1:

12:04pm – Hes All Grunt (NAP) @ 13/5
12:22pm – Rittos Hanger @ 11/2
