US Greyhound Racing: Here’s 5 to keep the dream alive at Naples Fort Myers tonight

A few Florida fancies for Friday. Lovely.

A 24-race programme from Naples Fort Myers in Florida on Friday night that kicks off at 6pm.

The first race at 18:00 is a class B over 550 yards. A look at previous stats sees the red jacket of trap 1 Ts Dr Strange as the way to play here. He’s run all his life at this venue. He hasn’t clicked on his last couple of starts – but with a career of 14 races and four wins – he could get back to winning ways again.

We jump ahead to race four at 18.48, another Class B over 550 yards. This contest is pretty wide open with a couple of dogs only having a couple of starts. Trap 5 ATs Faye Shep really caught the eye finishing fast last time out.

If getting a run down the far side could land the spoils again.

Race seven is a Class A over the 550 yards again at 19.36, which means it’s one of the better races on the card. Fred Macmurray in Trap 3 is the one to side with in this contest. With 10 wins, four seconds and two thirds in 29 races,, that extremely healthy strike rate could see him deliver again.

Areally wide-open contest for race nine at 20:08 where BRC Justin is running from the red jacket in trap one. He held off his rivals two starts ago to land the spoils, but didn’t get involved last time out. Has blistering early toe so if getting it right at the traps, he could be the all the way winner.

The final race we’ll look at is the 20.24, which is race number 10 on the 18-race card.  This Grade A race, centres on JD Spellbound who is on a four-timer is trap one.  Three starts ago he won a grade B contest, but since that has rattled off two Grade A wins as well. He like to lead, but is possibly not the strongest of stayers.

If he has his trap boots on tonight he could put a spell on all his rivals and win again and rates the Nap on the card.

There is a special Money Back 2nd and 3rd to a SP Fav on all races tonight. Max stake 10 quid.
