The second golf major of the year is fast approaching as the world’s best meet at Valhalla Golf Club for the PGA Championship.
Brooks Kopeka claimed victory in last year’s event at Oak Hill Country Club, becoming the first ever LIV golfer to win a major championship in the process.
His win immediately solidified the legitimacy of the Saudi-backed breakaway tour and was quickly followed by the ‘framework agreement’ agreed between the PGA Tour, LIV and the DP World tour that would see all three tours work together.
Since then more players have moved over to LIV including the 2023 Masters champion John Rahm, who’s also likely to be in the mix at this year’s PGA.
Scottie Scheffler will be the man to watch, though, after he followed up his stellar performance at Augusta in the Masters earlier this month with a huge win in the RBC Heritage signature event. His second-place finish last year was the highest he’s ever finished at this event.

PGA Championship 2024 dates
The PGA Championship 2024 will take place between Thursday, May 16 to Sunday, May 19 at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
PGA Championship 2024 schedule
Play is due to start at 1pm on the opening two days and at 3pm for rounds three and four over the weekend.
