US Masters 2023 prize money breakdown and winner’s earnings at Augusta major

It's not all about that Green Jacket...

Rory McIlroy in action at Augusta in the US Masters

The world’s best golfers are set to tackle the first major of the season – but how much prize money is on offer at the 2023 US Masters?

Scottie Scheffler claimed €2.7million for winning last year’s tournament and the defending champion is among the favourites in Paddy Power’s betting for the US Masters.

The winner will also get their hands on a Green Jacket, one of the most iconic prizes in sport, but it’s fair to say the cash is a nice bonus.

So how much money is on offer to the 88 players competing at Augusta?

Well, the prize purse for the 2023 US Masters remains unchanged from last year’s total at €15million, with the winner taking home €2.7million.

Despite being one of the most prestigious prizes in golf, there are 11 tournaments on the PGA Tour that boast a greater purse than the US Masters including the Players Championship, which is worth a tidy €25million.
