Austin Cook
Austin Cook was a PGA Tour winner four years ago and his game has looked solid recently. He’s not too far away from having a breakout round and really turning it on. He’ll need to get putting again but it’s usually a strength of his so I have no doubt he’ll find that form again. He’s also one of the most accurate drivers in the field which is key on this course. He’s an interesting pick and he’s a great price.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
Russell Knox
Russell Knox’s last PGA Tour win came on one of the shortest courses on the circuit. That’s where he makes his money as he’s not a power hitter. He hasn’t putted well recently but his fundamentals are there. If he can liven up on the greens, he could do well. He’s got a touch of class.
Hank Lebioda
Hank Lebioda is a left-hander from Florida and he’s at his best in the wind. He’s one of the best putters in the field too. He has course form and has two top-20 finishes. It looks like he’s gone off the boil but there are reasons behind his slight dip in form. He played two courses that don’t suit him and he also played in the FedEx Cup, which might be slightly above his level. This is a real chance for him to show his game is still there.
Kurt Kitayama
Kurt Kitayama is a big hitter, who’s more well known for being on the European Tour. He’s played well when the going gets tough and the wind blows. His last two wins were by the sea and we’ve got those conditions again here. He’s playing better than his form figures suggest.
