To Win:

Will Zalatoris (NAP)

I’m hoping Will Zalatoris can get his revenge on Hideki Matsuyama for the Masters. Zalatoris is one of the best non-winners on the PGA Tour but it’s still early days. He’s started the season really well and he’s been just outside the top 10 in both tournaments. The one key difference this week is that he’s got a positive experience of the course. This time last year he finished fifth in this event and shot back to back 64’s. He’s got course form to call upon and it could make all the difference.

Hideki Matsuyama (Next Best)

If you look at other courses that are similar to TPC Summerlin, TPC Scottsdale is right up there and Hideki Matsuyama is arguably the best player on the PGA Tour at that course. He’s won there twice and was also a runner up. Matsuyama’s form is nice and he’s already had a top-10 finish. He’s hitting the ball well and the greens here are similar to Augusta where Matsuyama and Zalatoris impressed at the Masters.

Each Way:

Patton Kizzire

Patton Kizzire has two top-five finishes at this course and plenty of low rounds to his name. One slight issue is his driving off the tee but once he gets past that he’s a brilliant putter and his iron play can be hot too. He’s been an eye-catcher recently but he could put it all together here where he’s got course form.

Andrew Landry

Andrew Landry is a two-time PGA Tour winner and both of those courses were in the desert – and this is a desert course too. He started really well last year but he faded and finished just outside the top 20. A year on, he arrives on his best finish of the year. He’s a massive price and he sticks around if he’s in with a shout of winning in the final couple of rounds.
