Golf Postcast: A 40/1 bomber to silence the big guns in Dubai

The Postcast tipsters have been in scintilating form and are looking to go out with a bang with Thomas Pieters among others as the curtain comes down on the European Tour ...

Another superb weekend of tipping for the Postcast pundits with Steve Palmer banging in Lee Westwood win in South Africa – his first win on Tour for four years. Lee that is, not Steve.

This week, the DP World Tour Championship brings the curtain down on the the final piece of the Race to Dubai (R2D) jigsaw, where the love in between ‘Moliwood’ comes under the spotlight again, as the defending champ Tommy Fleetwood is the only one in contention to deny his VBF the R2D title – and the lovely over-sized cheque that comes with it  – this season.

Racing Post tipster Steve Palmer has plumped for last year’s winner Jon Rahm as his main selection, while PP trading king Iain McLoughlin has opted for the big-hitting Thomas Pieters to bounce back to form in Dubai where Paddy’s paying the first six places.

The two-course test of the RSM Classic is the main event Stateside this week and Steve Palmer has played it a little straighter with a resurgent Webb Simpson as his main selection, while Iain McLoughlin has gone for third favourite CT Pan.

Who’ll come away with the birdies and who’ll be the bogey? Tune in to find out.
