We love all sports equally here at Power Tower, but we’ll admit it’s been hard not to have golf’s Ryder Cup around after the excitement it brought us two week ago.
Thankfully, Eddie Pepperell had us covered at the British Masters yesterday with one of the shots of the golfing season.
Teeing up at the ninth Pepperell launched his iron shot straight at the flag at the Walton Heath Golf Club.
The stunned crowd watched as Pepperell’s ball crashed into the flag and popped up into the air. Amazingly, as the ball hit the ground it spun back and drained into the hole like someone had it on a string.
The hole-in-one helped Pepperell into a share of the overnight lead and it really has to be seen to be believed. Luckily for us, you can do just that thanks to the European Tour’s YouTube channel below:
