Best Bets

KLM Open

Ian W: Erik Van Rooyen 25/1

“He’s hasn’t played the course before but the greens-in-regualation stat here has proved to be the key numbers here – six of the top eight at this tournament last year were in the top ten for GIR – and Joost Luiten, who won the KLM in 2016, was second in that stat, so I lean towards Van Rooyen, as he’s sixth in that category at the moment.

Iain M: – Jorge Campillo 45/1

“He’s a big price in this field… He opened 2017 here with a round of 76 but had rounds of 66 and 65 in there as well, so enjoys the course and just had a bad round spattered in there. He’s a strong iron-player and a great putter on his day.”

Evian Championship

Ian W: Georgia Hall – 20/1

“She won the British Open… and has been competitive on the other side of the Atlantic as well. Having finished tenth in this tournament before and looking like a player on the upgrade, I think she’s an excellent price.”

Iain M: Brooke M Henderson – 12/1

“She’s clearly the best player in the world at the moment, I thought 12/1 was a very fair price. She has a good record around the course and won two weeks ago. She’s had strong form in majors all season too.”

Albertsons Boise Open

Ian W: Denny McCarthy – 18/1

McCarthy looks a worthy favourite. He’s missed just two cuts in his last twelve efforts on the main tour and he’s claimed two top ten finishes in the last two Web.com events.”

Iain M: Sung-jae Im – 28/1

“He’s won the Web.com tour money list this year, including two wins, one of them the Portland open just three weeks ago, so he’s in good form.”
