The All-Ireland Senior Football Championship is at the finale stage and the last two teams still standing will fight for the Sam Maguire Cup at Croke Park this weekend.
Dublin were the defending champions after beating record holders Kerry in the 2023 showpiece by just two points (1-15 to 1-13). They headed into this year’s competition as favourites, although their effort to defend the trophy ended at the quarter-final stage when they were beaten by Galway.
The Tribesmen will face Armagh in the final – a contest few saw coming at the start of the competition – after downing last year’s losing finalists Kerry in the last four.
