The Wexford man’s been a mighty tipping form for us of late, calling all four League Division winners of late as well as bagging a couple of First Goalscorers in the last round of Championship games. Let’s keep the good times rolling…
Galway v Sligo
TV: RTE 2, 1:45pm
Galway -12
I think it’s all about handicap betting this weekend. At the moment the line is 12 points in both the Connaught match and Munster match. I do like the look of Galway -12 though. You have basically Division 1 v Division 4 here and I know Sligo have been promoted and did really well in the League this season but they only beat other Division 4 teams whereas Galway have beaten Roscommon already, a very good Division 1 side.
Now, Galway don’t always win by massive scorelines it can be argued but at the same time they don’t usually go up against lower ranked sides so I think they should be able to cover the handicap line here.

Kerry v Clare
TV: RTE 2, 4pm
Clare +12
I’d fancy Clare with the additional 12 points here. I think Clare should really be still in Division 2, I think they were very unlucky in the League this year and Kerry done what they had to do to stay in it, but always with Kerry it’s about the Championship rather than the League. I think Clare are going to be extremely sticky in this, they’ve been improving now for quite a few years and I don’t see them losing by more than 12 points.
