Galway v Kerry – Galway to win

Sunday, 13:45
TV: TG4

It’s almost as though the league final is the place that nobody wants to be, with the Championship coming hot on its heels this season.

Kerry actually have a long enough break before they play in the Munster Championship, Galway have something similar, so these are two teams that probably wouldn’t mind being there!

I fancy Galway at home. Kerry haven’t really hidden the fact that they’re content just retaining their Division one status, which barring a crazy series of results, they will have done.

Galway have been strong throughout the league, especially considering the fact they’re missing a few players. I like the look of Galway at home here.

Mayo v Monaghan – Mayo to win

Sunday, 13:45

Mayo have been super-impressive throughout the league. They’re probably the team of the league so far.

No matter who they rest, they seem to have someone just as strong in their place. They’ve got great competition for places at the moment.

That doesn’t bode well for Monaghan, who could do with the points. I fancy a home win again.

Tyrone v Armagh – Tyrone to win

Sunday, 13:45

Two teams going in opposite directions as Armagh, after a really good start have gone backwards since the opening weeks. Tyrone, who had a poor start, have gone from strength to strength.

Tyrone have hit their stride in the last couple of weeks and home advantage definitely gives them the edge.
