WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Saturday 3:45pm: Roscommon v Clare
This will be the perfect test for Roscommon. Clare had a good win last week and they’ll have no fear coming into this one. Roscommon are well set up and they have great forwards who are always a threat. Clare will make it hard for them but I expect Roscommon to Win.
I like the look of Roscommon to Win by 3-4 points. Clare will set up defensively and will be looking at damage limitation. If you’re looking at a First Goalscorer, Conor Cox is a solid pick. He’s always lively and causes problems.
Saturday 6pm: Mayo v Kildare
I don’t think this game is as straightforward for Mayo as the odds suggest. Kildare will be desperate to bounce back after the Dublin game. Mayo also don’t have the forwards that Dublin have.
This will be a really close one. I do fancy Mayo to Win, however, I also like Kildare (+2) on the Handicap. Mayo always scrap and they usually find a way to get the win. I’m also keen on Daniel Flynn to be the First Goalscorer. I see Kildare scoring first and Mayo coming back.
