Saturday 7pm: Cork v Kilkenny

Cork have home advantage but this will likely be a tight game. You know Kilkenny will give this a right go, as they always do. The question is, will Cork match that? Can they match the intensity and aggression? If they do, they’ll win.

Kilkenny are going along nicely but I think Cork will bring back some big players this weekend. They rested a couple against Wexford last week, which was the right thing to do.

I like Cork to Win by 1-3 Points. With their big players coming back, the home crowd will be right on side too, I fancy Cork to just edge it. They’ll need to bring the same intensity they did against Limerick though.

I’m also going with Shane Kingston to Score Anytime. He’ll come back into the team and he’ll make a big difference. He pulverised Kilkenny last year in their All-Ireland clash. They just couldn’t handle his speed. I expect more of the same this weekend.

Sunday 3:45pm: Waterford v Wexford

Like Cork v Kilkenny, this is a difficult game to call. It’s going to come down to what team Waterford put out. We know what Wexford bring to the table, they will turn up and give a performance. They’ve been brilliant in the league, beating Limerick and Cork. They’ve been solid on the road too.

I’m siding with Waterford to Win by 1-3 Points. They’ll bring back some key players who almost always perform. That should be good enough to get them over the line. It won’t be easy though and it’ll be a tight one.

I’m also on Dessie Hutchinson to Score Anytime. There are a few options for both teams but Hutchinson is getting another game under his belt after last weekend. The game will do him the world of good and hopefully he won’t be starved of the ball and he’ll have opportunities.
