GAA Tips: Aidan O’Mahony’s best bets for Sunday’s football action

The former Kerry legend fancies Kildare to upset the Dubs and the Kingdom will just shade the battle with Monaghan.

1:45pm: Kildare v Dublin

This is a huge match and it will have been circled since the start of the year. Kildare will be disappointed they didn’t come away with a point against Tyrone last weekend. They had their chances and stayed with them for the majority of it.

Kildare will fancy themselves at home, especially with Dublin being out of form and missing key players. The Lilywhites will feel they have to win, while Dublin know they have nothing to lose with their current problems. I’m siding with Kildare to Win.

I also like Daniel Flynn to Score Anytime. He’s their main attacking threat and he’s worth backing in the First or Anytime markets.

Sunday round-up: Mayo, Kerry to win & Clare v Derry to be a Draw

Mayo face Armagh on Sunday. I liked Mayo at the start of the season and I tipped them be be a force this year. Mayo will be disappointed with their last game against Monaghan and they’ll be keen to get back to winning ways.

We also have Monaghan v Kerry. My old side will find it hard to break down Monaghan, as do most teams who face them! It’s always a battle. Kerry will get over the line, but it won’t be easy.

Finally, we’ll look at Clare v Derry on Sunday. Derry have been fantastic and Clare are playing some great football at the moment. They will have no fear against Derry but I can see them cancelling each other out. I’ll side with the draw.
