Saturday 5pm: Cork v Clare

Cork are probably a little bit behind other sides at the moment and it might take a bit of time to get to where they want to be. Clare are coming off the back of their defeat against Limerick but there’s no shame in losing to them!

Cork have their injury problems and Clare are without Tony Kelly, who has been sensational. I fancy Cork to Win but I think it’ll be a close game. Cork will likely win by two or three points. I wouldn’t put you off backing Clare +4 on the Handicap.

Sunday 3:45pm: Dublin v Waterford

Whoever wins this one will feel they have a chance of topping Division 1B. This is the game of the weekend. Dublin will be a very dangerous team this season. They’re clocking up big scores and they could be the team to look out for. It’s a tricky assignment for Waterford.

It’s very hard to separate these sides so I’m going to side with the Draw. If there’s going to be a draw this weekend, it will be in this one! I also like Dublin +2 on the Handicap. It wouldn’t surprise me if Dublin win either.
