13:30 Cork v Tipperary – Tipperary (+5)

I reckon people are reading way too much into Cork’s shock victory over Kerry last time out. I don’t believe Cork play particularly well in that game and they were very lucky to snatch it at the end. The odds for this one have put way too much stock into that result and The Rebels are way too short at current prices to beat Tipperary in this Munster final.

Tipperary are in with a great chance of an upset in this, even if they have to travel to Cork’s Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium. I’m hugely attracted to the (+5) handicap available on The Premier County here, because there really hasn’t been much between the two sides in recent years.

Tipperary even beat Cork in the National League at Páirc Uí Chaoimh two seasons ago. Both teams are very defensive minded too, and that should keep the scoring at a premium. This should be tight and that will help bring in our selection.

16:00 Cavan v Donegal – Donegal (-7)

It’s Donegal all the way for me, and you’d have to predict that they’ll be the ones lifting the Anglo-Celt Cup on Saturday evening. But, the match result odds wouldn’t attract you to betting on a straight win for them. However, I do believe it will be a big win for the Tír Conaill County on the scoreboard.

Cavan have done brilliantly to get this far with that shock victory over Monaghan in extra time, seeing off a game Antrim side and then that amazing come-from-behind win against Down last weekend – where they were behind by 10 points at one stage.

However, the quality of Donegal makes it a bridge too far here for Mickey Graham’s men, you only have to look at what Donegal did to Armagh in the Ulster semi-final to see that. The (-7) handicap is a big one, but I reckon Declan Bonner’s side can beat it here.

Colm O’Rourke tips summary:

13:30 Cork v Tipperary – Tipperary (+5)
16:00 Cavan v Donegal – Donegal (-7)
