Watch: Eamon Dunphy go Head2Head with Tomás Ó Sé

Kerry legend Tomás Ó Sé may have won five All-Ireland titles, but he’s never taken on a challenge like facing up to Eamon Dunphy…

If you’re Irish and you don’t know who Eamon Dunphy is, then you really must have been living under a rock!

Dunphy has been one of the country’s most recognisable personalities for about 40 years now and having left RTÉ earlier this year, we felt it was only right to bring the original mischief maker back to Ireland’s screens along with our pals at eir Sport.

Sports fans have already been treated to intriguing, honest and sometimes fiery interviews with new Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy and the country’s greatest ever goalscorer Robbie Keane, so on the eve of the big day we decided to give them an early Christmas gift.

If you were watching Head2Head on Christmas Eve you would have seen Dunphy tackle Kerry great Tomás Ó Sé on the show, and if you didn’t, you really missed out! But, don’t worry we’ve got you sorted.

Ó Sé spoke on what it was like growing up in GAA royalty in his beloved country, he also revealed his true feelings about Kerry’s great rivals Dublin and looked at if the Kingdom could topple the current dominance the Dubs have over the game.

Of course, there was also a bit of craic during their chat, so keep an eye out for a cracking yarn involving his legendry uncle Paudi Ó Sé and The Edge from U2. We won’t spoil it for you here!

Before we get to Tomás’ conversation, we have to remind you that Head2Head is far from finished this Christmas time on eir Sport and we still have fresh interviews with Graeme Souness and Ruby Walsh to come. To add to the fun, we are also giving you another chance to see Robbie Keane’s fascinating chat with Dunphy as well.

Here’s the dates and times of those interviews:

December 26: Ruby Walsh 10pm on eir Sport 1 (Free to view on Sky platform)
December 27: Graeme Souness 10pm on eir Sport 1 (Free to view on Sky platform)
December 28: Robbie Keane 10pm on eir Sport 1 (Free to view on Sky platform)

* If you miss any of our shows don’t worry! We will have them here on PP News and on the Paddy Power YouTube Channel the day after they air on TV.
