Watch: Eoin Kelly believes Tipp are strong enough to conquer new hurling format

One of the best forwards to ever grace the field in the blue and gold of Tipperary came to chat to us on how he sees 2018 going for his beloved county…

If you were looking for an intercounty forward that would get the opposition defenders’ knees knocking with fear, then Eoin Kelly of Tipperary was your man for the job.

The Premier County legend’s hard hitting views were so good last year, that it would have been foolish of us not to sign him up for a second season as our hurling ambassador.

Kelly, along with iconic former Cork star Diarmuid O’Sullivan, will write exclusive columns for Paddy Power News on the 2018 Championship season – don’t say you haven’t been warned on where to find them.

He knows to expect the tough questions at this stage, but – like his career – he’s not afraid to have a cut. We grilled him on the strength of Tipp’s squad, the pressure on Michael Ryan to succeed and his future ambitions as a coach.

Does he see himself as Tipp manager someday? Watch for yourself below to find out all the answers:
