Watch: Monaghan are now Tyrone’s real rivals according to Owen Mulligan

Our GAA ambassador has never been one to hold back on his views and we sat down with him for a fascinating chat on the upcoming Ulster Championship…

With four Anglo-Celt medals to his name for the Red Hands, we thought there was no better man to talk to about Tyrone’s hopes of three in-a-row in Ulster than Owen Mulligan.

Along with Kerry legend Bryan Sheehan, Mugsy is a Paddy Power Gaelic Football ambassador for the 2018 Championship and will feature in exclusive columns for Paddy Power News throughout the season.

As his beloved Tyrone look to add to their 2016 and 2017 provincial victories, we invited Mulligan into the bowels of Power Tower to give us his thoughts on his county’s chances in 2018 and like his famous goal against Dublin in 2005, the three-time All-Ireland champion was direct as always.

We fired more jabs then a sticky Kerry corner back his way and he took on all comers in typically bullish fashion. Just wait for his answer to our cheeky Arsene Wenger-themed question!
