Friday 3pm: Croatia v Brazil – Over 3.5 Cards
TV: BBC, RTE
I know Croatia have got a good midfield but this might be a game too far for them, Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic could get run ragged in midfield. I think Brazil will win this without conceding. It could get quite tasty with a lot of frustration flying around so I like Over 3.5 Cards.
Friday 7pm: Netherlands v Argentina – BTTS
TV: BBC, RTE
I fancy Argentina to Win. I know they lost that first game against Saudi Arabia but things like that just happen sometimes. Teams get warmed up as the competition heats up. I think there will be plenty of goals here so I think Both Teams will Score.
Saturday 3pm: Morocco v Portugal – Ramos to Score Anytime
TV: ITV, RTE
This is going to be interesting, these two have had good performances and Morocco topped the group so we can’t write them off. It will be tight but I’m going for Portugal to Win. I think Fernando Santos was justified in putting Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench and the performance proved that so I think they’ll stick with his replacement Goncalo Ramos. So will I so it’s Goncalo Ramos to Score Anytime.
Saturday 7pm: England v France – Over 8.5 Corners
TV: ITV, RTE
As much as I’d love to side with England, I feel France will get the job done. It won’t be a walkover and England will put in a performance. I’m expecting loads of corners in this one and there will be a lot of attacking from both sides. England and France have plenty of pace in their attacks so I’m going with Over 8.5 Corners.
