Morocco have been fab. I just love the way that they play, the handbrake’s off, they have a real go. Technically they’re very good and, again, the Spanish made lots of changes and got beaten in their final group game.
I can understand why teams do that. You’re giving everyone a chance and when your subs come on in the next game then they feel a bit fitter and they’ve got a taste for the competition. I’ll go 2-1 to Spain in this one.
7pm: Portugal v Switzerland

I think this might go to extra time. I think this will end 1-1 and I’ll go for Switzerland to go through on penalties. Switzerland are just going about it quietly. You look at them and they’ve got some decent players but I didn’t really fancy them to go far. Lo and behold they’re in the knockouts.
Their starting XI is actually really good and they understand the way they need to play. They’re not affected if they concede a goal, they just keep plodding away. You wouldn’t say they’ve got real, outstanding stars, would you?
Even on a bad day they don’t give much away so I think they’ll just have enough to find a way here. Cristiano Ronaldo’s been an absolutely brilliant player but, unless he gets the ball to feet in the box, he can’t do anything else. At this sage of the competition it’s every hand to the pump.
